I present two blogs...Lac de Vie is a photo blog of my own real experiences framed as a kind of universal Cabin, situated in a remote forest by a beautiful lake. All photos on my blog were taken by me during actual visits to northern places. "North" is anything to which we orient our real inner compasses. North is true... An interesting way to look at trees:)
It seems that the roots of the tree grew around the stone while it was underground. Then, at some point, the tree was partially blown over, or fell, leaving enough roots in the ground to continue living, but lifting the stone up and out of the Earth.
It has that "never let you go" look to me.
Yes,it appears that it's "holding on for dear life".
